OBITUARY IRISH Olga Joan August 2, 1925 – September 12, 2017 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Olga Joan Irish announce her passing at the Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Tuesday September 12, 2017 at the age of 92 years. She was predeceased by her parents Theodore and Effie Cobb; husband Gordon; brother Roger and sister Ruth. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her daughter Ann (Robert) Dean, granddaughter Kerry of Centreville; nephews: Dennis (Debbie) Mills, Ron (Ruth) Mills of Gander, NL., Paul Irish in Thompson, MB., Peter (rev. Eileen) Irish of Rothesay, NB.; nieces: Lynne (Burt) Olford of Bonavista, NL., Kerry (Don) Davis of Pickering, ONT., also other relatives and friends. Visitation has taken place at Stacey’s Funeral Home, 60 Roe Avenue, Gander on Thursday September 14, 2017 between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service took place on Friday September 15, 2017 at 2 p.m. from St. Martins Anglican Cathedral, Gander with interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made in Joan’s memory as she dearly loved children to the Janeway Children’s Hospital Foundation. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Stacey’s Funeral Home, Gander/Carmanville.
