Obituary TREVOR LEON WHALEN 1976 – 2011 Trevor was born on August 8, 1976 to Maurice and Chloe Whalen. He met Carla Roberts on January 19, 1996 and married her on September 22, 2002. Together they had 2 wonderful children - Nakita (14 years old) and Nolan ( 4 years old). Trevor worked with DFO as Fishery Guardian and loved his job to the fullest. He was also a member of the Springdale Patrol Canadian Rangers which he also loved attending. Trevor met many wonderful friends during his time with the Fishery Guardian and the Rangers. Trevor battled cancer for over 6 years with family and friends close by. He fought many hardships along the way. On March 2nd , 2011 he said goodbye to all who held him close and went to his heavenly home. He leaves to mourn: his wife, Carla; Daughter, Nakita; Son, Nolan; Parents, Maurice and Chloe; Sister, Corinne (Andy); Step-sisters, Kelly and Rosemary (Kevin) along with a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
