Vera Gaouette

GAOUETTE Vera (nee Lander) 1940 - 2019 Vera Gaouette (nee Lander) passed suddenly on November 22, 2019 at the HSC, at the age of 79. Predeceased by her parents Amy Scott and Alex Way, her sisters Christine Way, Goldie Way and brother Ralph Wheeler. Leaving to mourn Ruth (Bob) Keefe, Frank (Tu) Way, Roland (Peggy) Wheeler, Bob Wheeler, John (Rhonda) Wheeler, Tony (Carolann) Scott, Jim (Jacqui) Scott, Leonard (Jennifer) Scott. Her children Sonia (Lawrence) Howse, Frank Layden, Cynthia (Pat) Layden-Barron, Yvonne Leyden, Lorena (Bruce) Blundell, Monique (Derek) Pickford, Florent Gaouette. Grandchildren Mark, Lee, Sheena, Jodi-Lynn, Brittany, Shayne, Stacey, Tonya, Crystal, Peter, Jeremy, Briana and Phoenix and 11 great grandchildren. Also, many cousins, nieces and nephews. The family would like to give thanks to the staff and residents at North Pond Manor, Torbay for their kindness and support. There will not be a funeral at this time. Vera has requested a celebration of her life at Devil’s Cove in Port Rexton this coming summer. When people look, you seem to be someone to give smiles. Yet you are a haven in yourself, you have travelled miles.
