Obituary Wilfred Thomas Green Passed peacefully away at University Hospital London, Ontario on Friday February 2, 2018, after a short courageous battle with leukemia. Wilfred was born in Grand Falls and grew up in Gander. After leaving High School, Wilfred joined the Royal Canadian Air Force, retiring after 20 years of service. Wilfred then attended The University of Western Ontario and graduated in 1974. He joined General Motors Diesel Division London, Ontario taking early retirement in 1988. Wilfred continued his studies, becoming a Financial Planner with Laurentian Services. In 2006, he decided golfing with his grandson Andrew and friends was much more fun and finally retired. Leaving with loving memories his wife Ethel, one daughter Cyndi, her husband Stephen McLellan. Two sons, Randy, his wife Anne and Rick, his wife Brenda. Four grandsons, Robert Green, wife Sara, Sean Green, Andrew McLellan, wife Caitlin, Ryan Green (Ashley), one granddaughter Stephanie McLellan (Trent). Two precious great-granddaughters Emily and Gwyneth McLellan. Two brothers Barton Green, wife Loretta (deceased Jan 2018), Stanley Green (deceased), two nieces, Lisa Green (Charles) and Nancy Luscombe, husband Graham. Very special in-laws Daphne and David Hanrahan, John and Darlene Kelloway, and many other supportive nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has taken place in London, Ontario. Stacey’s Funeral Home in-charge of private graveside service to be held at a later date. In Wilfred’s memory donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of one’s choice
