Dear editor,
On June 9, 2019, here in Clarenville we held our 15th annual Walk to End ALS.
It was another success due to the many participants, individual donors, and the businesses and organizations that made great contributions.
Through those efforts, we raised approximately $14,000. The ALS community is most gracious.
I, personally, want to thank one and all for your support. Special thanks go to Clarenville Lions and Co-op 50-50, Jacque Dupont-Aylward, Clarenville Co-op, Sobeys and No Frills, Clarenville RCMP and Fire Department, Gloria Harris, prize donors, and Joe Wells and staff of Easy Street Pub. My apologies to anyone I’ve omitted.
The ALS Community and I will be forever grateful for your help in providing resources (i.e. special beds, wheelchairs, etc.) for those battling ALS and for ongoing research.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
God bless.
Cal Cole
