Monday was the start up for minor baseball in Deer Lake.

Prior to this year, any children in Deer Lake wishing to play headed to Pasadena.

There are over 90 kids registered and they will be utilizing the town’s existing softball diamond at Schwartz's Field for this season.

Early Monday morning the 8-9 year old rookie division met and the kids were excited to get started learning about and playing baseball.
