School Sports Newfoundland and Labrador’s (SSNL) varsity girls slo-pitch and varsity boys outdoor soccer provincials are taking place around the province today, Friday, and tomorrow, Saturday.
The girls slo-pitch provincials are as follows:
- La Scie’s Cape John Collegiate is hosting the 2A tournament with eight teams participating. Burgeo Academy is the defending champion.
- Glovertown Academy is hosting the 3A tournament with six teams participating. Mobile Central High is the defending champion.
- Gander Collegiate is hosting the 4A tournament with nine teams participating. Roncalli Central High is the defending champion.
The boys outdoor soccer provincials are as follows:
- Belanger Memorial in Doyles is hosting the 2A tournament with four teams participating. Holy Name of Mary Academy is the defending champion.
- St. Lawrence Academy is hosting the 3A tournament with six teams participating. St. Lawrence is the defending champion.
- Prince of Wales Collegiate is hosting the 4A tournament with six teams. Marystown Central High School is the defending champion.
