KING’S POINT, NL — Riley Burt of King’s Point shares his love for hockey with his dad, Owen.
The 16-year-old started playing hockey 12 years ago. He now plays centre for the Springdale Braves Midget team and laces up his skates for the AAA Central Thunder.
When asked what he loves about the game he responds, “it keeps me active, and the socialization is great.”
Riley enjoys the physical activity that comes with hockey, but also having fun. He also plays many school sports and other activities.
After high school he plans to concentrate on his studies, but hopes to keep playing a few games of hockey for fun.
