Bravettes take gold, heading to provincials

Valentine’s weekend the Under12 Springdale Bravettes participated in the 5th Annual Female Under-12 Traction Tournament in Grand Falls-Windsor and brought home the Gold.

In the first game Friday, they tied Gander 2-2 and went on to tie Corner Brook 3-3. Saturday they played Grand Falls-Windsor and beat them 5-1. In their last game of the tournament, they defeated Botwood 9-1, clinching a spot in the championship game Sunday morning.
After a very intense game, they went on to victory with a 6-5 win over Gander.
The girls will be heading to Corner Brook on March 18-20 for the Under 12 provincials.
