Brandon Crewe made his professional debut on Tuesday night.

Crewe was called in to help out an undermanned staff with the ECHL’s Newfoundland Growlers for their next two home games in St. John’s, beginning with Tuesday night’s matchup against the Worcester Railers.

The Irishtown native usually serves as equipment manager/trainer for both the West Coast Senior Hockey League’s Corner Brook Royals and the Western Kings of the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Major Midget Hockey League.
