Lewisporte hosts Bantam hockey tournament

The Lewisporte Bantam Seahawks recently hosted the Randy Cuff Memorial Tournament at the Lewisporte Stadium.

Participating in the ceremonial opening faceoff of the Randy Cuff Memorial Tournament this past weekend were players Mark Holloway (left) from the Bonavista Cabots and Abigail Pardy (right) of the Lewisporte Seahawks. Representing the Cuff family was Craig Cuff (middle right) and his son Randy (middle left). The Bishop’s Falls Express came out on top and took home the banner.

Two Lewisporte Minor Hockey Association Seahawk Initiation players helped to lead the teams in during the opening ceremonies. Jackson Stinson (left) led the Bishop’s Falls express in while Nicholas Hodder (right) led the Bonavista Cabots onto the ice.
