Drew Langdon recorded a hat trick on Monday evening as his Elwood High Lakers thumped the St. James Regional High Saints 10-3 in West Coast High School Hockey League play at the Hodder Memorial Recreation Complex.

The Lakers also got goals from Josh Shears (2), Joshua Osbourne (2), Isaiah Caines, Bradin Burden, and Colton Bishop in the win.

Luke Penney, Marcus Street and Cody Drover replied for the Saints.

The Lakers led 3-0 after the first period, before piling up five more goals in the second en route to the win.

Aloo three Saints goals came in the second stanza.
