Marble Mountain will open Saturday.
The hill posted an update on its status and aftermath of Thursday's storm to its Facebook page Friday, just after noon.
"After assessing the mountain this morning, we are relieved to say the damage was minimal," the statement read. "The storm system did not hit us as hard as predicted."
According to the post, the Lightning Express and Magic Carpets will be in operation for opening day with first chair at 9 a.m. It anticipates opening all runs west side of the Lightning Express excluding L’anse Aux Meadows. The complete list of runs will be available Saturday morning.
The hills also said it will be monitoring today's forecast and pending high winds, and will update their Facebook page with any changes.
