REGIONAL WEATHER FORECAST: Milder air finally arrives
A weather warning is now in effect. Click here to view all affected communities.
Going into this weekend, a change in the positioning of the Jet Stream will allow for a moderation in our temperatures across much of Atlantic Canada. Across Labrador, however, the cold air remains in place with temperatures flirting with seasonal norms.. This milder air will lead to possible messy weather across much of the Maritimes and Newfoundland with a mix of showers and wet snow for some areas as a frontal trof crosses the forecast area to begin the weekend. The winter season officially arrives next Friday the 21st at 6:23 p.m. AT.
